Today, begin your trip to explore Cat Ba Island. The expressway 5B Hanoi to Hai Phong cuts down the journey to 1:30 hours, and the local ferry to Cat Ba Island takes 1 hour. Once arriving at Cat Ba Pier, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel for check-in followed by lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you take a half-day walking tour to visit the fish sauce production factory and learn about the main industry of the island.
