The day starts as we pick you up at your hotel for a drive to the town of Cai Be. The cruise starts at around 10 am with a visit to some local home factories before proceeding to Cái Bè colorful floating market. Your sampan will head towards Vinh Long and Sa Ðéc, then cruise along a small beautiful canal through water jacinth plantations. Sa Ðéc town appears before your eyes like a miniature Venice with numerous narrow canals. You then disembark at the local marketplace for a guided tour of this charming town, walking along its narrow streets filled with beautiful French old houses and Chinese temples over a century old. Your lunch awaits you there in an ancient house dating back to 1890. Back on board your sampan, you will enjoy cruising down to Can Tho to visit Cao Ðài temple and a splendid ancient house built in the early 19th century. There you will experience an unforgettable candlelight dinner and spend the night on the Song Xanh Sampan on the Mekong river.
After breakfast, you will approach Cai Rang floating market where your cruise journey will end at around 10 am at Ninh Kieu pier. Rejoin car for transfer back to HCMC with a stop at the town of My Tho for a short break.
During the cruise, fresh cotton towels, exotic, hot green tea and two bottles of mineral water will be served daily free of charge.
