This trail allows you to experience a forest that is home to the rare, endangered and ancient Kim Giao trees and an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Be surrounded by stunning views of limestone karsts rising dramatically from the Bay’s deep blue waters. Watch the sunset from the ship’s deck and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves lapping against the boat.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, be met by our car driver and be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Depart Hanoi and drive 2hrs to Hai Phong, the gateway to Halong Bay. Travel like a local and embark on a 30min via local ferry to Cat Ba Island. A 45min land transfer takes you to Cat Ba National Park. Commence trekking through the park which possesses a unique variety of flora and fauna. Trek 6km (4mi) to Frog Lake to admire the magical landscape of submerged trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this serene setting. Continue trekking for another 3km (2mi) to the scenic Viet Hai Village where you can see rice fields, fruit plantations, and experience local life. (Please wear appropriate footwear as this section of the trek is slippery due to walking on limestone.) Afterward, walk around the village for an up-close view. Board a wooden motorboat at Viet Hai Pier for a 1hr cruise to the Beo Pier where you will transfer to your resort for dinner and overnight.

Check out of the resort and drive 35mins to Gia Luan Pier where you will board a day boat and cruise approximately 1hr to the Ha Long Pier. Settle on board your main boat to begin a 2 day/1 night cruise through the spectacular Ha Long Bay. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts a wild beauty of clustered limestone islets and crescent beaches. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on board. Afterward, take an exhilarating kayak trip through the lagoon, have a refreshing swim or simply relax onboard and enjoy the
sunset.

Wake up early and take a position on the upper deck to witness the sunrise over the bay, a cup of hot tea in hand. Early morning is truly a magical time on the bay as the limestone karsts appear all around you in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Continue sailing through magnificent Ha Long Bay. Enjoy brunch on board before arriving at Ha Long City Pier at noon where transportation will be waiting for and drive back to Hanoi or Hai Phong for your onward flight
